Jérôme Ferrer Grand Chef Relais & Châteaux and President of Europea Group in partnership with Gilbert Rozon founder and president of Just for Laughs are proud to present their new venture Jerry Casse-croûte du terroir.

 

By joining forces, gastronomy and entertainment respectively Jerome Ferrer And Gilbert Rozon are putting Montreal in the spotlight.

 

Jerry’s casse croute du terroir offers customers a gourmet Quebecois food adventure in a friendly humorous laid back environment similar to the old diners found on the side of  Quebecois back roads. Jerry’s restaurant will revisit gourmet Quebecois classics

With chef Relais&Châteaux Jérôme Ferrer’s signature twist.

 

On top of the friendly environment that characterises Jerry’s you’ll also find the touch of comedy provided by Gilbert Rozon. Just for Laughs gags are played throughout Jerry’s and there’s a souvenir shop as well. “The Success that Jerome and his team has had was shown during the the festival shows what Just For Laughs is made of. Laughs, good times, good food…it’s in our DNA”

 

For Jerome Ferrer a theme restaurant chain combining humour and Quebec culture won’t leave anyone unimpressed and will be the only such restaurant in the world.

ABOUT JEROME FERRER

Grand Chef Relais & Châteaux, Jérôme Ferrer is also member of the French Culinary Academy and French Master Chef. He made his arrival to Quebec in 2001, directing les Europea kitchens since 2002 (one of the only Quebecois restaurants to be featured in the GRANDES TABLES DU MONDE which brings together 158 exceptional worldwide restaurants across 22 countries) In 2015 Europea was voted the 2nd best restaurant in the world in the Traveller’s Choice Awards by Trip Advisor. The 3rd time that Europea has been in the top 25 restaurants in the world. During the past year Jerome Ferrer has kept climbing in the business world with the launch of the Jerry’s banner which now has 7 franchises in Quebec. Jerome also owns he Beaver Hall Pub in downtown Montreal.

 

ABOUT GILBERT ROZON

Gilbert Rozon is the head of the largest comedy festival on the planet, The Montreal Just For Laughs Festival that he created over 30 years ago. Founder and President of the Just For Laughs Group he diversified his business in 4 major areas : Festivals , Television , Concerts , and artist management. He is also the starting force behind Regroupement des événements Majeurs Internationaux a agglomeration of prominent Quebec Festivals and its Canadian counterpart. Gilbert Rozon’s vision was rewarded by earning the 2007 Minister of Tourism Award and The Peter Ustinov du Banff World Television Festival Award. At the request of the Tourism Minister of Quebec in 2011, Mrs. Nicole Menard asked that he be the chair of the Quebec tourism performance committee. In 2012 he was inducted into the Canadian Tourism Hall of Fame. Gilbert Rozon is the commissioner of the Montreal 375th anniversary celebrations in 2017. He joined the franco version of Dragon’s Den ‘Dans L’oeil du Dragon 5’ in 2016.
